Ballara Wedding Expo March 2025

Exhibiting at the stunning Ballara Receptions in Eltham is always a total treat. I’m lucky enough to be one of their preferred suppliers (yay, I know), and I absolutely love any excuse to be back there. This time around, it was an afternoon expo —many of the couples had already booked their wedding at Ballara and were popping in for another look, soaking up the vibes and chatting with suppliers. Some fresh-faced lovebirds were just beginning their planning journey, wide-eyed and ready to dive into the wedding world. I met three couples in person who’ve already locked me in as their celebrant and MC. It’s such a joy to put faces to names and hear about their plans (spoiler: they’re fabulous).

Some couples had already booked at Ballara’s gorgeous sister venue, Chateau Wyuna—which happens to be five minutes from my house. Hello, local perks!
And of course, one of the best bits of a day like this is catching up with my wonderful industry pals. All in all, a brilliant day full of love, laughter, and way too many brochures given out.
