The special relationship of trust and mutual enjoyment which develops between a child and their grandparent is a great bonus and special blessing. Grandparents, with a lifetime of experience behind them, bring a unique and special love, understanding and wise guidance to their grandchild. Through this relationship, children learn their lineage, their history and many values and skills they will use to find their identity and inner security.
Grandparents are mostly non judgmental and accepting of mistakes. They also give a different view of the world. Child is lucky enough to have access to her grandparents. She will remember love and benefit from them for a lifetime.
