This beautiful winery wedding – Rochford Wines in the Yarra Valley of Keira and Dylan was just exquisite. You wouldn’t know that earlier in the day there was rain, wind, thunder and lightning but, by time the ceremony commenced, the sun started to shine!
With 6 bridesmaids (dressed in Forever New) and 6 groomsmen in the wedding party, along with golden retriever Charlie, there was certainly much love and friendship in the air. Rochford Wines provided the perfect setting for such a magical wedding day in the Yarra Valley.
The Ceremony
The ceremony needed to be setup undercover, due to the inclement weather, and the styling looked fabulous from Flowers of Yarra Glen.
Once the bride walked down the aisle, there was a Niagra Falls of tears from Keira but she re-grouped and we had some laughs before we got into the ceremony.
Their love story and vows (see below) helped make their wedding fun, hilarious, emotional and just them.
Keira looked absolutely stunning in her Made with Love Bridal gown with Dylan a close second in his Peter Jackson suit. Duuet Weddings captured the day beautifully, helping the couple nail ‘that’ kiss photo.

Their Love Story
Keira and Dylan met mid 2019 when they matched on Bumble, got talking and realised that they were both attending the same conference in Sydney.
Keira was going, Dylan said he was, however, actually hadn’t booked to go yet and begged his boss for a ticket, and they met for dinner.
Keira immediately noticed that Dylan, who had actually listed his height on his bumble account, clearly had exaggerated a little.
Ah, okay! Luckily, he won her over with his wit and banter.
Dylan thought Keira was very beautiful, fun, and loud!
For their first date they chose to go to a couple of different bars on Darling Harbour and talked the evening away.
It went really well as they hit it off straight away.
With dating, they took their time, dating for around 6 months before making it official, really got to know each other as friends first. Keira wanted it to be more serious, but Dylan was a little more chill. In these early stages, Dylan impressed Keira because he is very intelligent, (although he is constantly correcting her on the things she says). They are both very social, love a night out and are very active. Dylan was easy going, but is also grounding, because Keira can get carried away sometimes and he centres her.
Dylan discovered Keira has a very big heart and cares so much for those around her, there isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for those closest to her. This was initially something that he found to be incredibly infectious and lured him in. Her big personality and loveable goofy-self, helped too.
As their relationship developed, they knew it was love, and Dylan proposed to Keira down at Phillip Island. He had booked a place on the pier looking out to the ocean for lunch. They arrived early so he suggested to go for a stroll to the end of the pier. He professed his love for Keira and delivered his proposal speech, got down on one knee and popped the question.
Dylan had organised for her two best friends to hide inside the restaurant and capture their special moment and join them with their partners for a big celebration after. A day and night they’ll never forget. Phillip Island is also a special place for them, with Dylan’s parents having a place there where they can enjoy a quick escape.
Keira describes Dylan as observant, fun and goofy. She loves that they are similar, that he loves to be out and about rather than at home all the time, how observant he is and how he is very loving. He has a not-too-serious attitude that will also be her voice of reason at the same time. Dylan is her best friend, she can be 100% her genuine self when she’s with him and always say what is on her mind.
Dylan has taught her to be less stressed and is no longer as up tight as she used to be. He’s also taught her a lot with her pronunciation, he loves correcting Keira on the words she says, and her grammar. And, she has learnt that she has a love she never thought she could from another human.
Dylan describes Keira as loving, fun, and loud. He loves that they share so many common interests, passions, and values, that they always have each other’s backs, look out for each other’s best interests, and keep each other accountable on the things that are most important in life, to always make sure we are the best versions of our self. He loves her kindness, her quirky attitude, her dorky sense of humour (heavily Dad-Joke related), and, of course, her big heart. Keira has taught him to be a kinder human and to prioritise the things that matter most in life. She has also taught him the meaning of love.
Together, Dylan and Keira love doing lots! Food, going out for a meal with friends, going to winery’s, walking, and playing with Charlie their Golden Retriever, surfing, snowboarding, going to the gym are favourites of theirs. They love going to the beach in summer, going to the movies, music festivals or gigs. Pretty much everything and anything, especially if it includes the outdoors.
In marriage they know that honesty, light heartedness, and making time for each other will be so important. Keira is excited to take Dylan’s last name and to really grow their lives together. Having their own little family, travelling the world and sharing every important moment with the person they love most is what they look forward to. And, as of today, it will be as husband and wife.

Dylan’s Vows
Keira, through our relationship we have reached a lot of milestones quite fast. We were quick to say ‘I love you’, we were quick to move in together, quick to get engaged, and quick to get married. I believe we have done all these things so fast because there is no doubt in each other’s minds that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with one another. I know that I knew very early on in our relationship that you were the one for me.
Those who know me best know that I am a far better man when I have you by my side. You have taught me so much in the three and a half years we have been together. You have taught me that being open and honest is the key to a happier life and relationship. You have taught me what it truly means to care for someone with all your heart, and you have taught me to be a kinder and more caring person (all though we’re still working on that).
You have made me the happiest man in the world today by agreeing to spend the rest of your life with me and for that I promise to always cherish and respect you, I promise to always love and care for you, I promise always to stand by your side, I promise to look after you when you’re at your best, and when you’re at your worst – including when you have an uncoordinated Keira moment and snap your ACL.
I promise to spend the rest of my life filling up your water bottle – even though you’re more than capable of doing it yourself, I promise to work on keeping my cool when Carlton are losing a game.
But most of all I promise to always love you for who you are, which to me is perfect.
I love you so much Keira and I cannot wait for the next steps of our lives together, to travel to all the places we want to go, to share all our big moments together, to have beautiful children together, and to one day grow old together.
Keira’s Vows
In this moment, I can’t help but find myself in awe, making this lifetime commitment I am finding myself in awe.
I have found my human and you have found yours.
I feel like I have waited my entire life for you.
Dylan, I honestly didn’t know what love was until I met you and I feel so lucky that I get to spend the rest of my life with not only my soul mate, but my best friend.
Not only have I found somebody who can handle my red cordial energy. You also balance us out. As we stand here today, I want to make my promise to you –
I promise that no matter how great the obstacle that we come across in our journey together I will always stand by you.
I promise to try and not get too ahead of myself at times and listen to you because Keira, isn’t always right.
I promise that when we one day have a family that I will be most amazing mother to our children and always support and love them with all my heart as I have shown you with our beautiful gold boy Charlie.
I promise to continue to sacrifice the top sheet on our bed. I have now come to terms that it’s never going to happen
And I promise to listen to everything you have to say about Carlton when the weekly draw comes in and when you need to vent about how the umpires favoured the other team and how you should have won.
Although, I can’t always promise I will stay in the same room as you when you are watching the game
