If you’re after a wedding in the Yarra Valley that accommodates smaller numbers at various times, then look no further than the Melbourne wedding venue, The Little Vineyard.
Only 40 minutes from Melbourne and nestled on the outskirts of the valley, The Little Vineyard has a winery and relaxed-rustic vibe with many picturesque opportunities.
This is why Alicia and Jason chose it for their post-COVID nuptials. After re-imagining their initial wedding, the couple are very relaxed and wanted a more intimate celebration.
Their ceremony was held outside under the arbour and included a candle lighting to honour those who are no longer with us, readings delivered by friends, confetti, and vows nailed by a very nervous groom and supportive bride.
A chilled and fun ceremony it was and such a wonderful and appreciative couple.
Thanks to Keonie Joy and Angry Chicken Media for capturing the day.
Their Love Story
Alicia and Jason met at Jason’s mum’s house in November 2015. His sister Hayley knew that Alicia thought Jason was a babe so was teasing him, that Alicia thought he was hot. Jason messaged his sister when he left and said, “Your friend is cute, what’s her number?”
“Alicia thought Jason has the cutest little dimples when he smiles, and he just seemed like such a nice and genuine person.”
“Jason thought that Alicia was very attractive, with blue eyes, and that he would like to take her out for dinner.”
For their first date, they went to King Pin at Crown, went bowling and had a couple of drinks. It was fun, but they were both super shy. They started dating and Alicia found Jason so respectful, kind, loving and thoughtful.
He always brought her little gifts, just because.
He always put her first and made time for Alicia.
Jason appreciated Alicia’s fun personality and that she was very caring.
The Proposal
Jason proposed on the beach in Vietnam in December 2018.
They had picked a ring out together 6 months before the holiday. Jason had asked Alicia’s dad’s permission before they left.
In typical Jason style, he asked Alicia to “help him pick a top to wear to the beach because he was going to propose.”
On the way, he grabbed a local to take photos of the moment.

Alicia describes Jason as thoughtful, hardworking and a hottie. He literally has the biggest heart of anyone she knows. He is the most generous, caring and respectful person she knows. Jason is Alicia’s best friend, he has never judged her, and loves all of her.
Jason has taught her not to worry about the small things and what others think.
***
Jason describes Alicia as smart, determined and pretty. He loves her cooking and that she is caring and giving. She has a great personality and has self-respect and self-worth. Alicia is always prepared to help people.
She has taught him to think before he acts, to give people a second chance (even if he is right) and not to go to bed angry.

Alicia and Jason
Together, Alicia and Jason enjoy traveling, going to the footy and cricket and spending time together at home with Roxy (their dog).
Trust, respect, honesty, and communication will be extremely important in the marriage.
*
Alicia can’t wait to wake up next to her favourite person every day, for the rest of her life.
***
Jason looks forward to cooked dinners, a clean house, dishes done, lol.
Seriously, to build a life together as husband and wife, creating memories with their beautiful children as a family as they grow old together.

And more babies are in the cards too!
