As part of the Melbourne Wedding Group we love getting together to show case our look, style talent and this time we organised our shoot at Red Scooter in Balaclava. With winter weddings, it is a great time to highlight that there are fabulous options as to where to hold a winter wedding in Melbourne. Some brides may take the chance and have a back-up option but with warehouse weddings, such as Red Scooter, you can have it all inside.
The dedicated ceremony space at Red Scooter looked amazing! Wedding Hire Melbourne supplied the circular arch for the ceremony and it was styled beautifully by Tyabb Roses. An arbour or an arch is a stunning way to frame the couple during the ceremony and complement your bouquet, floral choices and bridal couture.
Our two grooms, Lewis and Nick, had the wonderful opportunity to rehearse for their own ‘real’ wedding that was held at Red Scooter in August and included many Melbourne Wedding Group Suppliers. Dressed in Prinzi Suits, they were framed gorgeously by the back drop and we laughed as they walked the aisle, held hands, exchanged the rings supplied by Temelli Jewellery and celebrated with a kiss.
Of course, we could not leave out a bride in this shoot! She looked exquisite in her bridal dress from Josephine and the sleek hairstyle look and make-up were created by Nat from Ratskin. Again, Tyabb Roses created the bouquet where the gerberas and greenery popped against the dress and the styled background.
The ceremony shoot was fun and a wonderful learning experience, working with fellow celebrants Dawn Nance and Mike Larkin to get some fabulous vision of us in action. Con from ICON photography directed the photography whilst Richard from ProEye captured to videography. Melina from Regnier Cakes co-ordinated the entire shoot in a spectacular fashion. Now, for the reception!
