As a Yarra Valley celebrant, I love discovering new wedding venues, especially a venue that is five minutes from my house and office. This boutique, Yarra Valley wedding venue, Wild Rabbit Farm, is located on a gorgeous, secluded 10-acre property in Mt Evelyn. The owners, Sue and Bill, have created a dedicated space for you to create your perfect wedding ceremony and reception. As a Melbourne Celebrant I am excited to promote this flexible and adaptable space for weddings and events.
There are many options. Get married under the arbour overlooking the picturesque lake, where the wildlife roam, or choose your own spot on the expansive lawn. Hold your sit-down reception for up to 50 guests or a cocktail reception for up to 80 in the permanently setup marquee with a fully equipped kitchen and commercial refrigerator. Guests at your event can mingle in the marquee, relax under the outdoor umbrellas which are set up with tables and chairs, or socialise on the lawn amongst wine barrels, seating, rugs and comfy cushions.
Whilst the bride and groom are engaged in photos, an endless amount of prospective locations, guests can have fun playing lawn games. Provided in the price, Melbourne wedding venue Wild Rabbit Farm, will organise the activities such as quoits, soccer, cricket, bag toss and Jenga to keep the guests entertained and amused. The venue is perfect for DIY weddings as you don’t have to do it all but can make certain choices to suit any budget. At night, Wild Rabbit Farm certainly lights up. Festoon lighting creates an ambience and celebratory atmosphere, not to mention many more photo opportunities. Included in the package is LED lanterns and candles which Sue will organise. The fire pit offers another area for guests to mingle at night and in the cooler weather (not to mention to the gas heaters that are available too). A DJ will have you dancing and partying into the evening.
You can choose to organise your own catering or Sue can help you out with options; catered, grazing tables and food trucks are all great options. All equipment and implements needed for serving food and beverages are included in the package and, best of all, you don’t have to setup or clean up!
