Chateau Wyuna Wedding | Yarra Valley Celebrant

Melbourne weddings in mid-autumn are spectacular when the weather is right, and under the pergola at Chateau Wyuna was the perfect location for Rebecca and Adam’s wedding ceremony. This ceremony was the coming together of a family where nine children/stepchildren formed the wedding party in beautiful sage green and light grey hues.

The ceremony was fabulous, with many laughs and engagement.

Chateau Wyuna is 5 minutes from where I live, also in Mt. Evelyn, so it’s always wonderful to marry couples there and sometimes remain to MC the reception

Paul Rowley Photography and Tim Doig Photography teamed up to capture Rebecca’s and Adam’s wedding day from morning to night.

They helped create a relaxed and fun atmosphere whilst producing beautiful pictures and footage. All had a great day.

Their Story

Rebecca and Adam met in March 2010 through a friend. Rebecca thought he was cocky but funny and good-looking, whilst Adam thought she was attractive with a good sense of humour. They went to a mutual friend’s house for drinks on their first date.

Rebecca appreciated that Adam was a genuinely nice guy and fun. Adam says they got along well and had fun together as well.

Their relationship developed, and love ensued, and Adam proposed in early 2017 at their house.

Rebecca describes Adam as loving, funny and caring. She loves that he’s a good dad to all the kids, supportive, and a good provider.

Adam has taught Rebecca that not everything is the end of the world and about the ‘best songs ever’. Adam describes Rebecca as loving, loyal and funny. He loves the life they have built together. She has taught Adam patience,

Together, they love spending time with their family, attending concerts and family holidays.

Communication, compromise, and laughter will be a feature of the marriage.

They look forward to making it official and can’t wait to continue their lives together—as of today, as husband and wife.

The Vows

Your wedding vows are precisely that: your wedding vows. Bec and Adam chose stock vows from my planning pack rather than writing their own.

Other couples choose to create or write their own vows, from a paragraph to 2 pages long. It’s entirely up to you.

Adam’s Vows

You are my best friend and my one true love.

When I’m with you, I feel I can be the person I want to be, and I cannot imagine my life without you.

Today, I want to make a promise to you and to myself, in front of our friends and family, to love and honour, protect and respect you for the rest of my life.

Rebecca’s Vows

You are my best friend and one of my favourite pests.

You are my strength and kind-hearted.

You have always managed to help me through bad times, and I cannot imagine my life without you.

Today, I want to make a promise to you and to myself, in front of our friends and family, to love and honour, protect and respect you for the rest of my life.

The Review

‘I’m so glad I chose Julie to be my celebrant , Julie was such a vibe , all my guests loved her and commented on “what an awesome celebrant I had”

She made me feel so at ease throughout the whole ceremony which I was initially quite nervous about.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!’

The couple partied into the evening, celebrating marriage and a blended family.
