The Crystal and Kad Love Story
When Crystal and Kadir first met, Kad’s cheeky and loving smile caught Crystal’s attention along with his bold and confident personality whilst Kad noticed that Crystal was gorgeous and had beautiful eyes. Their first date was to Sky High restaurant in Mount Dandenong where they both endeavoured to display their independence. Crystal hates driving to unknown destinations at night, but she did, and Kad insisted he cut up his own dish at dinner whilst Crystal watched on, painfully and wanting to assist. They had a great time and realised that they had something special.
Crystal immediately sensed that Kad had the patience of an angel with a positive outlook on life, she was impressed. She also noticed and admired the close relationship, loyalty and love he has for his family and friends. Kad was impressed that Crystal was loving and caring person with a big heart.
Their relationship continued and developed and Kadir proposed in Bodrum, Turkey. They went parasailing which Kad thought was a perfect, romantic opportunity to propose, until he realised the only harness he had was the one slipped into their legs. Despite no balance, poor grip and danger that high in the air he still managed to propose. Thankfully, he was smart enough to leave the ring behind, on solid ground.
Crystal has found the person she feels completely comfortable and at ease with. Kad’s devoted, patient, handsome and makes her feel completely loved. He’s always thoughtful and giving and he likes to drive so she can slack off as a passenger. Kad has also taught her to be more patient. Honest, trustworthy and stubborn is how Kad describes Crystal and she has accepted him for who he is and looks past the chair. She has also taught him to do stuff around the house, independently, as he used to get his sister or mum to do it.
Kadir and Crystal love spending time together, especially with their family, close friends and fur kids Chino, Drummer and Dream. In marriage they know that love, support and trust will be extremely important as well as looking forward to waking up each morning with each other and spending their forever, together, with the one they love. They hope to expand their own family, settle into their own home and Crystal looks forward at having a second chance at creating a better signature.

SR Photography and Melki Studios were in charge of capturing the newlyweds’ wedding day. Sandra’s striking photos encapsulated the love and warmth Crystal and Kadir have for each other. Crystal looked amazing in her Anna Campbell gown and the bridal party, gals dressed by Love Affair Clothing and blokes by Ferrari Formal, all looked gorgeous. And, of course, I haven’t forgotten the grand entrance down the aisle by Gino, the flower dog!
Crystal created much of the styling herself in the courtyard where over 150 guests enjoyed seeing them marry. She chose florist Catherine from The Willow Branch to create the gorgeous blooms. I’ve worked with these guys several times now, having married couples in the Yarra Valley coming up from the Drouin and Gippsland area. Emily Murdica was our solo guitar and vocalist for the wedding ceremony, and she transitioned into the pre-dinner drinks and reception. A captivating voice and she created an authentic and celebratory atmosphere.

Kadir and Crystal had the most spectacular day at Potters Receptions and could not have been happier. We had so many laughs and fun moments during the ceremony to complement the emotions of the day.
Julie is wonderful, professional, easy going and great to deal with. She made our wedding lead up and day stress free, fun and enjoyable. We cannot thank her enough! Crystal and Kad xx
